Japanese Tokyo Steel raises scrap purchasing prices further

It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to hike its scrap purchasing prices by ¥500/ton at its five works from March 15th.

After the adjustment, its H2 scrap purchasing prices averaged at ¥33,500~¥35,000/ton.

Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing prices in Okayama plant are at¥34,500/ton; those in Kyushu plant are at ¥34,500/ton; those in Tahara plant are at ¥35,000/ton; those in Utsunomiya plant are at ¥35,000/ton and those in Takamatsu steel center are at ¥33,500/ton.
